First time here and what a great meal! Excellent service and delicious food. Pictures of steak tip delight, chicken and rice curry egg rolls, shepherd's pie and turkey dinner. Friends had steak tips with 3 sides and corn beef dinner. No complaints from anyone. Hot rolls to start with room temp butter. A new go to for us! Multiple specials also that we did not get to try.

Tons of good food options. Great beer on tap. And the mad hatter red ale is delicious.

Breakfast was some of the best in the area. I Ate everything the hungryman had to offer. Good French toast.

Worth the wait! The staff was lovely, attentive even though it was busy. The service station was neat and tidy. They accidentally gave someone white instead of wheat toast and rectified it before I even noticed what was happening. The food was fast and fantastic. If you're looking for a good Irish breakfast, this is the place. The Irish people in my party were very pleased. The wait wasn't too bad (less than the estimated 20-25 mins) but you do have to wait outside. I will definitely be returning

This is my first time visiting their new location on Washington Street. They are VERY busy, as they have always been, for Saturday brunch. Although their new decor has lost some of its homey charm, the service is still friendly. Food is still delicious- creative spins on your average breakfast offerings. This time I tried the crispy French toast- which was regular French toast encased in Frosted Flakes. Delicious. ❤️ Thanks, Mad Hatter’s! Now I just need to come back for dinner....

Plenty of free parking and easy to find. Has a simple, but modern look with plenty of seating. Some Irish items on the menu along with this Pasta Stuffed Meatball. It was huge and needed to half of it home for later.

I celebrated my graduation today in this excellent restaurant. Well we passed a astonishing evening and the venue was definitely one of the reasons for the strong evening. The crew cooperated in a graceful way, the cuisine was extremely good and my friends were so thrilled. We shall surely return for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Delicious brunch food including both traditional breakfast food like pancakes and french toast as well as traditional lunch food like burgers and wraps. I had a burger and french fries and they were delicious! There's also a buffet option that includes pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and pasta for a good price. The restaurant itself is spacious enough to be quite comfortable, but popular enough that there's often a wait.

People love it here. The food was just ok for me. But I am a very picky person and my whole family are wonderful cooks. Please give them a chance.

The mad hatter is a small little breakfast place (mostly) which is nice to go to now and again. I personally find some of the dishes a little salty, but it could just be the chef who is cooking that day. It is worth trying and deciding for yourself. I can get busy during the weekends , so it is better to get in early!

There were 12 of us....so that was a 24 thumbs up!! Most tried the Fish n Chips on waitress's recommendation. Very happy group! I myself had beef stew... delicious & could've fed 4!!

Awesome food I get the bangers and mash and there was a boatload of them Greg got D fish and chips and was excellent must go it's take out now only during this pandemic give him some business you will be quite happy

Last time food was a solid good. This time, oh my, the quiche was amazing and the omelet was exceptional and the service was well above average and the price was totally reasonable. Coffee is pretty awful though, stereotypical New England restaurant coffee. So, I was glad I made sure to drink coffee at home before heading to breakfast.

Food was amazing staff was super friendly. But it felt like we were being over cared for in which we were waited every 5 minutes. Regardless would and will be coming back

Wanted to try this place before they moved to this location. It nice inside, but wasn't to impress with the menu. I got pastrami Reuben with coleslaw. The Pastrami wasn't anything special to me. it came in cubes which was a bit weird. All I could taste was the corn beef and the thousand island could barely be tasted. My coleslaw was so watery that I didn't even try to finish it after my first bite. Overall, service was good, but the food need more work. It's pretty pricy here. Not sure, that I would come back

Some of the best Irish diner food you will have in the Boston area. Small dining area but space opens quick and friendly and engaging waitresses. One of my favorite spots to eat

Finally got to try the brunch. It was great! If ordering from the menu, I would suggest the irish breakfast or the lobster roll. Yumm!

Went here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. We were able to get a last minute reservation (only available for bigger groups) and were seated immediately upon arrival. They had live music, which was great. Not for anyone looking for a quiet venue. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Menu had a wide variety of choices, and portions were HUGE. Meals were tasty, maybe a 4/5. They had an excellent children's menu too (grilled cheese, chicken, burgers, hot dog and a few more choices) Place was very clean, seemed new. Very spacious inside. Was very happy with our choice to try this space.

I love this place very much. Food is always phenomenal! I highly recommend homemade hash. Customer service is always phenomenal and they take care of you very well! HIGLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

I have been here for brunch multiple times. They have a really great selection of fresh and tasty cuisine for the brunch buffet (also at a great price). Service is always great!

I read about this place from Yelp and I have to say, it lived up to the hype. Food was great. Some of the best hash I've had. French toast was great. Excellent sausage. If I'm ever in the area again, this place will be on the list.

Awesome Irish food. Very homely atmosphere with friendly staff. Open kitchen. Food portions are large and hearty and reasonably priced. You can taste that all the ingredients are fresh, especially the veggies in the omlets.

Best breakfast spot hands down. Huge portions, delicious food, great price, great service. One huge tip, if your looking to go here on the weekend, just don't. Nothing bad, just the waits can be long-ish. Call in your order and enjoy your mouth watering breakfast masterpieces at home. Yep... Posting this at 6:45am on a weekday is going to make me late to work because now I must stop and get breakfast

Crepes were great, didn't realize that big, and my breakfast pizza, yum yum, the service was exceptional, would definitely come again.

It was a nice spot to get something to eat. Lots of space between the tables and plenty of parking. I had the pasta stuffed meatball. It was pretty tasty and huge. I had to take half of it home. The prices are very reasonable. I recommend giving it a try.

So I was ready to rate this place 3 stars or less...Until our food came outThat was some of the best food I've had, maybe...ever? Just a tip when coming here. Try and find a place at the bar. They don't seem to be very well organized when it comes to seating. And avoid the buffet. Not worth it.

I went to the Mad Hatter last night with my family. The service was great the food was good size portions. The lobster Mac and cheese was excellent. The owner came over to check on how our meal was. The atmosphere was nice. I will definitely be going back!

Great service and great food. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good for $12.99 a person! Pancakes and french toast were on point. No waffles at the buffet though.

My 1st time there , food was amazing. I ordered fish and chips the best by far and their coleslaw has to be the best I've ever had. Our server Tim was excellent and attentive always a smile. Start to finish my experience was delightful, Definitely a return visit in my very near future

Beautiful, spacious new location, although parking is a bit tight. Authentic Irish breakfast with thick soda bread like I had in Ireland. French toast smelled scrumptious and was thick and well seasoned with cinnamon. Service was quick, authentic, and friendly. Live acoustic music on special occasions adds an extra layer of ambiance.
